Introduction to 4D Camp Experience Program

This experience program is linked to school curriculum.

First, it develops various creative ideas and potential of children, our future hope, in the process of converting mathematical geometric principles and intriguing scientific principles to objects. Secondly, the program improves the ability to address and cope with problems independently in the process of planning, designing and completing through trials and errors. Therefore, children can have a sense of achievement and develop multiple intelligences in this program.

    The content of the camp varies according to themes.

    The preferred theme and No. of classes can be selected.

    Camps for one day, one night two days, and two nights three days, etc. are all available.

  • 04

    The overall management from preparation of camp site to all programs is possible.
    The 4D Math and Science Experience Center, which is currently operational in the National Science Museum, is a new concept of exhibition and hands-on space integrating math and science. Visitors can experience math and science through a variety of programs in the Center.

The content of the camp varies according to themes.

Math and Science Camp 1

  • This camp is consisted of focused education so that children, our future hope, can exert creative ideas and potential to learn and independently manage the entire process of planning, designing and completing creative works using mathematical geometric principles and intriguing scientific principles.

Introduction

  • Period : One night two days

  • Location : Determined after discussion

  • Target : Elementary and secondary school students

  • Fee : KRW 150,000/person (including fees for educational tools and learning materials)

Math and Science Cooperative Learning Camp 2

  • Building a strong (Sierpiński) triangle: By building a triangle structure of higher than 2m or 4m, children can figure out the reasons why it is stable and rigid and used for many buildings accordingly. Also, children will make and connect triangular solids of the same shape and find out the power of a group.

Introduction

  • Period : One day (seven hours)

  • Location : Determined after discussion

  • Target : Elementary and secondary school students

  • Fee : KRW 75,000/person (including fees for educational tools and learning materials)
